We are looking for a dedicated professional to develop innovative extensions for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. In this role, you will independently implement complex technical requirements and actively contribute to the ongoing enhancement of our solutions.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop extensions in AL for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

  • Translate requirements from our consultants into technical solutions – from detailed design to implementation

  • Collaborate closely with consultants and colleagues to understand requirements and processes

  • Independently create specifications for complex technical requirements

  • Develop and maintain interfaces (REST, SOAP, external systems)

  • Contribute to the definition of development standards (e.g., code reviews, clean documentation)

  • Take an active role in architectural decisions and best practices

  • Participate in team code reviews

 

YOUR PROFILE (must-have)

  • Experience in AL development (Business Central, Visual Studio Code)

  • At least 2 years of hands-on development experience (more is always welcome)

  • Excellent English and German skills (we develop in English, coordination takes place in both languages)

  • Structured, independent way of working combined with strong team spirit

  • Motivation to learn new things and think outside the box

  • Ability to quickly understand processes and structures and develop pragmatic solutions

  • Basic knowledge of interface technologies (REST/SOAP)

 

YOUR PROFILE (nice-to-have)

  • Experience with Azure DevOps (repositories, boards, possibly pipelines)

  • Interest in technical/administrative topics such as deployments, updates, or pipeline monitoring

Location options available: Görlitz, Stuhr,  Zgorzelec
Work location: Up to 50% of working hours at client sites (e.g., in Belgium), the remaining time in the office (Görlitz or Stuhr), with the option for remote work.

 

YOUR TASKS:

  • Consulting and support of our clients (port and terminal operators) in the area of terminal operations.
  • Analysis, modeling, and documentation of business processes related to terminal operations.
  • Identification of optimization potential and development of practical solutions to improve efficiency and performance.
  • Close collaboration with clients and internal development teams to translate business requirements into our Terminal Operating System (TOS) solutions.
  • Support in the design, configuration, and implementation of customized IT solutions based on client needs.
  • Preparation and validation of functional requirements, specifications, and use cases for new features and system enhancements.
  • Support of project management during planning, implementation, testing, and go-live phases.
  • Training and advisory support for clients during system implementation and after go-live.
  • Opportunity to develop towards a Senior Consultant or Project Manager role, including independent project leadership and client responsibility.

 

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Degree in business informatics, business administration, engineering, logistics, or a comparable qualification.
  • Professional experience in consulting, process analysis, or operational roles, ideally within terminal operations or logistics environments.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to translate them into functional and technical requirements.
